I am happy for this brother, proud to know him,he is my 1st mentors, grew up on the same block, went to the same school, and he is the one that sent me up to Bearsville Ny in 1999 to reconnect with 50 to work on Power of the Dollar since our JmJ days.I took it from there without any hand outs.He is also a real funny guy with jokes and always had jokes for me(Turtle love).Hip-Hop mogul and Translation Consultation + Brand Imaging Founder Steve Stoute was formally inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement today (November 18).
The annual Awards luncheon, which was held at Cipriani’s 42nd Street, recognizes individuals under the age of 40, who have had an impact in the advertising industry.
Stoute was inducted for creating a number of successful campaigns for a variety of Fortune 500 companies, including McDonald’s, Reebok (Jay-Z) and General Motors (Mary J. Blige) and Hewlett-Packard (Gwen Stefani).
Most recently Stoute, who owns Translation Advertising with rapper Jay-Z, paired Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Julianne Hough with the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, to remix its signature jingles.
“Being awarded today was significant, [because] it wasn’t just me. They’ve inducted the work that I’ve done, which is primarily bred from the culture of Hip-Hop,” Stoute told AllHipHop.com. “The 12 of 13 years in the business makes me feel great, knowing that Hip-Hop played a very important role in my career. It being acknowledged by the mainstream media executives and advertising moguls from around the world felt great.”
Stoute, who was a music industry executive from 1990 to 1999, helped launch the careers of Will Smith, Nas and Mariah Carey.
As President of the Urban Music division at Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records, Stoute also over saw blockbuster releases by Eminem, Eve, Limp Bizkit, U2 and Mary J. Blige.
Blige, who attended the formal luncheon, posed for photos with Carol’s Daughter Founder Lisa Price, as well as Stoute’s mother, father, daughter and executives from Translation.
“Doors will be opened for others to really have a shot at controlling our image and preserving the cultural realities that Hip-Hop has to offer,” Stoute said. “Instead of interpreting it now, the real guys will have a chance to get in the door and do it right.”
A number of other influential young executives were honored during the two-hour ceremony, which was chaired by Starcom MediaVest Group’s Laura Desmond and Google’s Director of Industry Relations, Chris Theodoros.
Jon Gieselman SVP, Advertising & PR at DIRECTV, Chris Kempczinski VP of Marketing of the Non Carbonated Beverages division of Pepsi, Penry Price VP of Advertising Sales for Google and others were also inducted during the luncheon.
The American Advertising Federation, which is over 100 years-old, established The Advertising Hall of Achievement in 1993.

It's been 2 years since I lost my great friend Herve Romain,he taught me alot about this industry and the politics,he really had a passion to see G-unit win,he would stress so much when things didn't go right. He had passion, something this industry lacks, not to mention he grew up in Queens like me,moved toWestbury like me and is Haitian like me.We had alot in common. He will always be remembered..Love you Herve..Saslow had a fund raiser the other night for him.Got to hang out with his family and Paul, Dj Emz Jordan,Mark,Dennis and Dave Saslow,to help ease the pain of a missed friend Paul Dj Emz and I had a debate on which Tribe Called Quest album was more of the classic Midnight Marauders or The Low End Theory.

Rapper Willie The Kid has hovered on hip-hop's horizon for several years.
Now, after being signed to major recording imprint Aphilliates Music Group/Ayslum Records (a division of Warner Music Group), the 22-year-old Grand Rapids native is set to release his national solo debut, "Absolute Greatness," on Tuesday.
"I've been doing music, pursuing music, making a name for myself and putting things together since I was a kid," he said.
"I'm excited (about the new release) because of the quality of music on there. What's been put together, I'm real proud of."
Willie The Kid, born Willie Buckley, graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 2004 and received a degree in mass communications and integrated communications from Clark Atlanta University, in Atlanta, the city where he met platinum-selling producer DJ Don Cannon.
"I heard him rap, and that was all it took," Cannon said. "Will has been my guy ever since."
Willie The Kid, who now lives in Atlanta, said his album is the first official Aphilliates Music Group release, "so it further makes my debut an exciting project."
His older brother, underground hip-hop artist Lason -- La The Darkman -- Jackson, is president of Aphilliates Music Group and greatly influenced Willie the Kid.
Jackson's debut album, 1998's "Heist of The Century," brought national attention to the Grand Rapids' hip-hop scene.
"I didn't want to be a fireman or basketball player. I wanted to be an MC," Willie The Kid said. "My brother got ... to learn from (Wu-Tang Clan's) Rza. That made me want to make it even more."
Willie The Kid's first recording appearance came in 2006, alongside rap heavyweights Lil' Wayne, Freeway and T.I., on the critically acclaimed underground song "Cannon (Remix)."
In 2007, the song "Taking Pictures" featured Willie and platinum-selling Young Jeezy, Jim Jones, Young Buck, Rick Ross and T.I.
His first single, "Love For Money," is an all-star collaboration with his brother and Trey Songz, Gucci Mane, Yung Joc, Flo Rida and Bun B. And this is just the beginning, he insisted.
"I'm always hungry for more," he said.
"I never really feel like I've done enough. No matter what happens, I know there's more I could be doing."
Coach Pr aka Prince was one of the O.G's in my hood, back in the day he was that drug supplier that thugs admired,I even cut his throat one time cause hustling on a bike was alot faster then him in his nice whip,he was the 1st to pull me to the side and tell me what a cut throat was. After time away we all both grew out of that.Getting his start in the music industry with Teamwork Music in 1999 managing local Queens, NY artists and producers, Coach PR had no idea the foundation of success was being laid for what some refer to as a growing illustrious career. When Teamwork Music decided to partner with rapper 50 Cent in 2001, to promote a movement that eventually landed 50 Cents his mega deal, Teamwork would help to launch what would become hip hop’s premiere label - G-Unit Records. Coach PR would take on the responsibility of spearheading some of the most unconventional and innovative promotion techniques that infiltrated communities world-wide,and helped the world know who 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck are. Being named as Director of Promotions for G-Unit Records in 2003, Coach PR has emerged as one of the music industry’s most creative and sought after promotion directors.
Always possessing an affinity for sports, Coach PR (hence the name) added yet another caveat to his mounting list of credits when he was solicited to co-host Taking it to the Streets in 2004 along with DJ Whoo Kid for New York’s number #1 Hip Hop and R&B radio station Hot 97. The overwhelming response to Coach PR’s commentary from the streets prompted his in-studio position at Shade 45’s G-Unit Radio in 2004 on Sirius Satellite Radio, where he is the co-host aside DJ Who Kidd for one of the most listened to segments on Shade 45. It was the G-Unit Radio show on Shade 45 that led to yet another opportunity to co-host a radio show in 2006 on Hot 97 cleverly named POW Radio, which airs every Monday night. As the co-host of these radio shows, Coach PR uses his knowledge of music, sports and his people skills to enlighten, inspire and entertain millions of listeners. Having interviewed celebrities such as Donald Trump, Dan Akroyd, Samuel Jackson, Eminem, Outkast, Michael Irving, Heinz Ward, Floyd Mayweather, Dwayne Wade and Lamar Odom, Coach PR has set no limit on what he can accomplish.
As Coach PR continues to submerge himself in hosting radio shows, regular appearances on MTV’s Sucka Free, BET’s Rap City, BET’S 106 and Park and hosting high school and college Ballin Out of Control basketball DVD’s, Coach PR has also been featured in Ky-mani Marley’s 2007 BET J Reality TV series “Livin the Life of a Marley” and 50 cents soon to be released 2008 movie Before I Self Destruct, Rewind DVD’s, XXL Magazine, Blow Magazine, Connex Magazine and Hip Hop Dx.com which has gained him irresistible popularity and earned him the title of being the “Sports Expert Hip Hop.”
Make sure you check him out every sat on Shade45 G-unit radio.

By now you know i did not go to school to be a writer or journalist, but one thing I am not is stupid, foul or ignorant, this month is about to get dirty, the Republicans are not gonna fight fair. Not to mention my wife put together an amazing event for Obama this weekend.A lot of people came I out got some Barack shirts signed up cause the dead line is this Monday October 6.I watched the debate with some older heads from my community and the things said about Obama had me and my wife just walk out before I caught a charge,Ignorance rules the world,The Government is bailing banks out so they can loan more money and put us in a deeper debt. That money should come to us or give us all tax breaks or anything we all can feel now.We can talk on this for days but to any of you people who are Democrats but are not voting for Obama cause of his color you are just as ignorant. Here is what Palin's home town feels so you be the judge.

Ok Ok Alright I started some shit with my 3 headed Monster blog, not to mention my hoodness spelled Empack instead of Empact, thanks to Paul he pointed it out, either way that's not the title, that's what i call the power of my homie Em,His joint is coming but the title will be announced soon,so for that i wanna have ya'll get a laugh from me so i can show you i won't just make fun of others and cause i know your cursing me out..i'll also be the 1st to put you on this cool site faceinhole.com also shout out to Miss Info

All I gotta say is,who said Hiphop is dead?or do you wanna kill ya self?Either way, your dead! You can "Self Destruct" now or" Detox" later, either way your gonna feel The Empact.
The monster is coming, drop your lp's right now,2009 will not be your year. There coming...
This is for the fans, the streets, the clubs, the east, the west, the south, the blogs the whole HIPHOP World!!

As I look back it amazes me how many people from my hood got to a point where they can call music a career.I grew up with these 4 unique dudes. That are very influential in this Industry.Whoo kid is my cousin, lived 4 blocks away from me,this dude is a Dj that needs to do be a comedian,he lived off Springfield a block away from Stretch crib,"Live Squad"2 pac,E Money Baggs,Maj use to be out,The P bros,Falsey,Mike all the real niggas lived on that strip,it was ugly,4 blocks down on Murdoch was Clue, big the nigga had like 4 cars at 20 off these mixtapes, had me on Go seeing that shit,I started as a dj and gave my shit to my cousin and went to the beats, right across the street from Clue was Envy,he cam up big doing his thing..Now the Og that I lived one block away was the 1st to show me this music business is really a life changer and what I really wanted to do was my 1st mentor before the late Great Jam Master Jay was this funny guy Steve Stoute. This is all living proof that anyone that puts there mind to it can make a better change in there life with there dreams.Shout out to Queens.

Please, please, please advise everyone you know that they absolutely can NOT go to the polls wearing any Obama (or whoever you are voting
for) shirts, pins, hats, etc. It is AGAINST THE LAW and will be grounds to have the polling officials to turn you away. This is considered campaigning and no one can campaign within X amount of feet of the polls. They are banking on us being overly excited and not
being aware of this long standing law that you can bet will be ENFORCED THIS YEAR!!!!!
They are banking that if you are turned away, you will not go home and change your clothes and return to the polls to vote. Please just
don't wear ANY gear of any sorts to the polls! Please share this information with as many people as you can. If you are already aware
of this, please don't take it as insulting your intelligence.
